I always wanted to draw, as far back as I can remember. My formal training began at seventeen years old and continued into college. I graduated Art Center College of Design in Pasadena with a BFA in illustration, ready to become a famous fashion illustrator! When that was replaced with photography in the mid-80’s, I started doing storyboards for advertising agencies in Dubai and Beirut for the Pan-Arab market.
Upon returning to Los Angeles, I took classes at Otis College of Art and Design to update my portfolio and worked for Nordstrom as a personal shopper. During this time, I found out that there was a niche for illustrators to sketch for costume designers and joined the Costume Designers Guild in 1995. As a result, I’ve had the wonderful opportunity of working with great costume and production designers on many films. I am currently working on “Desperate Housewives” as an illustrator and assistant to the costume designer, as well as teaching drawing/rendering classes at the UCLA Theater Department.
My career has come full circle, and I have met many talented people along the way. I share this website with you to give you a sample of my work. Thank you for visiting!
